Members shared mixed but largely positive experiences with chiropractic care for neck and back pain related to fibromyalgia, with many noting that it helped significantly before their condition fully progressed, though some found adjustments made pain worse once fibromyalgia intensified. Several members described practical approaches that worked for them, including weekly gentle adjustments using specialized tables that avoid twisting, going only during flare-ups rather than on a rigid schedule, and combining chiropractic care with massage therapy for better relief. A recurring theme was the discovery that Medicare does cover chiropractic visits when the diagnosis code is correct, offering hope to members who thought cost would prevent them from trying this treatment option.

I would like to try a chiropractor. The problem is, Medicare will not cover it. I even have a niece who is in chiropractic school !!

I go to the chiropractor every week. It helps me. My Dr. has a table that I stand on a platform he lays me down dose the adjustments an then stands me back up, no twisting.
