Members strongly validated the experience of extreme emotions triggering increased pain, fatigue, and stiffness, with many describing how stress and heightened feelings create a cascade of physical symptoms that can be overwhelming to manage. Several members shared coping strategies, including avoiding relationships that cause unnecessary stress, pursuing activities that bring joy despite potential pain (like travel), and recognizing that the body cannot distinguish between good stress and bad stress. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of living with chronic pain, with many members describing increased tearfulness, emotional sensitivity, and the exhausting challenge of managing both mental health conditions like PTSD, depression, and anxiety alongside physical symptoms.

My dr says do things that make you happy and it may cause some pain but the endorphins are so good for your body, mind and soul. I like to travel but there are many times during the travel that I am laid up by the pool or just have to take it real slow and then I usually come home and crash.

Yes ,it seems ,with me anyway the more emotional I am is directly related to how tired ,sore or stiff I am and visa versa.I try to keep from relationships that cause undo stressstress, and try enen harder to not get to emotional over simple things but since I suffer from PTSD,depression, and anxiety it can get overwhelming easily

Stress is a big fibro thing. There are 2 types of stress; eustress (good ) snd regular stress. Unfortunately your body can not tell the difference between the 2.
