Members shared their experiences with daily hand and foot stiffness, with many describing morning stiffness as particularly severe, along with swelling, burning sensations, weakness, and reduced grip strength that significantly impacts daily activities. Several members discussed strategies that provide partial relief, including warm water soaks to restore feeling, medications like Savella (though results varied), and in one case, carpal tunnel surgery that helped for years before symptoms returned due to continued computer use. A recurring theme was the frustration of trying to identify triggers like humidity, overuse, or specific activities, while acknowledging that stiffness and pain often persist regardless of these factors.

That could be Carpel Tunnel, and I had in both hands and 10 years ago they did surgery on both hands feels a lot better, but it starts to hurt more again when I'm online typing too much, they said my job and working on computer all the time was not going to help so had to stop building websites for others and stay off computer more when I seen it was causing more pain.

When it's humid out my hands won't bend. They hurt and are so swollen. I always thought it was high blood pressure. Until one day when my hands were like that I took my bp and it was normal 😕
