Having Fun
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Just curious as to what my fibro friends do for fun. Im single, and between the pain, and anxiety levels I have im having a tough time. I read, and do cross words. I can't stand on my legs for a long time without being in pain.

I do alot of home activities of course: gaming online, artsy stuff, reading, music, gardening. I also cook alot and built an electric bike so I can go bike riding . I enjoy crafting and photography. And chatting on message boards.

The things I do for fun is read and watch tv. I can't stand for long either. U try to do as much as u can without over doing it. U also need to take ur meds at the same time each day. This helps u to stay on top of the pain. I have a habit of over doing it as well. I'm picky about everything staying nice and clean but sometimes I just have to stop and remember it will still b there waiting for you to do it later. Listen to ur body.

I have a few neighbors who stop by, but like you I'm not to energetic. I wake up early and do me errands by that time my legs have had enough. I am just having a rough coupler weeks. My granddaughter wanted me to meet her last night 7:30 to take a lilittle walk, but im just so exhausted by that time. I have the same problem with reading, muscles behind the eyes get tired. I know it is what it is, but I struggle with it. Oh wellthanks yyour response, It helps to know others have the same issues.

I recently discovered adult coloring books and I'm really enjoying them , helps relieve my stress and take my mind off the pain , I love watching the pages come to life , it makes me feel like I accomplished something. ☺
