I've just started using a quell TENS unit that I ordered online. So far it's been a lot of help with getting better sleep and lowering my muscle pain. Wondering if anyone else is using one on here too?

Members shared varied experiences with TENS units for pain management, with the original poster highlighting Quell's wearable design that straps below the knee to affect the whole body and has significantly improved their sleep and muscle pain. Several members described getting units through insurance with a doctor's prescription, ranging from basic models around $200 to top-of-the-line versions at $600, while others noted limitations like small coverage areas or needing to find the right balance of intensity and duration to avoid increased soreness. A recurring theme was cautious optimism, with one member reporting days of surprisingly normal, pain-free arms after weeks of consistent Quell use, though they found sleeping with it uncomfortable, while others emphasized that relief varies and proper usage takes experimentation.

That's interesting. @A MyFibroTeam Member and @A MyFibroTeam Member you might be interested in what Quell came out with. Mine is a wearable version that you strap on your leg just below your knee but it affects your whole body. I've had mine a couple weeks now and it's been amazing just on sleep alone. I've never had any other TENS units though, so I don't know how it would compare with those, but I have heard these are more powerful than the typical ones.

I have been using Quell for 3-4 weeks now. At first I didn't feel any difference. I continued to wear. Suddenly I had a day where my arms felt "normal"--an amazing day. Then 3 days, nonconsecutive. They usually feel extremely heavy and painful especially deep in the biceps. I believe it may be the Quell that's making the difference. Trying to further test if I can truly connect the relief to the device. Note: Don't like sleeping with it. My sleep is light and I'm restless thus feel annoyed by the device.

I have been using a tens unit for 3 yrs now. It helps and hurts depending on how you use it. If I use it too long I find that my muscles ache more and the pain is more intense. I think you have to find the right balance of time and intensity.
