I get this alot. I have had all kinds of tests including a spinal tap to rule out MS. I have not been able to get relief from this yet. Please keep us posted on what your surgeon suggests. Praying that you get some relief.
Patti you are right doing the dishes in hot water does bring some relief but short lived. I have nodules in my hands and probably arthritis to which makes even trying to grasp dishes difficult which in turn leads to a lot of dropping of things. I am scheduled to go see a surgeon but not until Sept. I am undecided about the surgery though but with out it I don't have full control of my hands and the pain is much more frequent.
I have had that for probably a year now, it comes and goes. My hands and fingers are so stifff in the morning. Hot paraffin dips feel good but only temporary relief. I think that I have carpel tunnel too. I just bear with it, and wiggle my fingers a lot. Doing dishes in hot water helps out too. I probably should put pain cream on, just thought of that just now, DUH !!!!! lol.
Feel better Ladies.
