The last couple of months I have been having bladder issues and its driving me insane!! I'll go and then feel like i need to go again within 5 mins. Its not a bladder infection, I got my doctor to check. Im also not on strong meds(only panadol/ibprofen but not frequently). I thought it was from taking Acupan for the pain, but i stopped taking that and it hasn't changed anything. On bad fatigue/pain days its worse

Members shared their experiences with irritable bladder symptoms, with many describing the frustrating cycle of frequent urges, pressure, and sometimes difficulty urinating, often worsened by fatigue or fibromyalgia flares. Several members offered practical strategies that have helped them cope, including avoiding carbonated drinks and acidic foods like citrus and tomatoes, using over-the-counter Azo or its generic equivalent, drinking plenty of water, wearing panty liners for leaks, and in some cases learning to self-catheterize when retention becomes severe. A recurring theme was the connection between bladder issues and fibromyalgia, with members noting that stress, nerves, and weight can all play a role, and some mentioned conditions like interstitial cystitis or overactive bladder as possible underlying causes worth exploring with a specialist.

I have it but not all the time. I had a recent gyn exam and she said it was ok and I told her sometimes I have to sit for awhile before I can begin a urine stream. Irritable bladder, irritable bowel....irritable Kathy lol.....I think my nerves play into this as well.

I use otc Azo or the generic brand. Sometimes 2 helps sometime 3 or 4. Also drink plenty of water. I have been suffering with it since 2004. Also carbonated drinks cause it too. I don't drink soda anymore ... fruit makes it worse especially citrus and even tomatoes.
