I am on SSI since 2007, was turned down once, then three years later approved. They paid me all the way back to when I first applied in 2003. It ia under Fibromyalgia and Type 2 Diabetes, Arthritis, Sarcoidosis. All are crippling in there own way.
I got approved very quickly for SSDI 2 years ago and now I help others at no cost. I was approved in just 3 months for Fibro, Depression & Hypertension. I'd love to help you too. If you are on facebook, you can find me with the same name used here. xxx
I am on disability for 9 years now. Seems they didn't pay much attention to FM (so many people think it doesn't really exist or cannot be as bad as we know it is). They gave me the disability because of the severe depression. I never even thought of getting disability until I was on sick leave and my work hired a company to file for me.
I'm not exactly sure what you means by success by going on disability, but it two me almost two years to get it in California and I had to hire a Social Security Advocate. My disability payments are not enough to live on so I spend my free time trying to find creative ways to supplement my income. It's very stressful, but since I have no one to help me, and I can't work full time, I have no choice except to find some kind of part time work. Unfortunately, I have failed at a lot of things I have tried because of fibro fog and pain flares..
What's disability thru work TinaTalley? I know nothing about it. How do you do it?
