I have had FMS for mant, many years and just when I thought I had all of the crazy symptoms it had to offer, I noticed over the past few years as it got cooler out I would be literally freezing at even 70 degrees! When I do get chilled like that I start to shiver SO hard I feel like I'm having a seizure or something. Cold never used to bother me, matter of fact heat used to. Now i relish the heat!! So, anyone else shaking like crazy from the cool temperatures?

Members connected over the frustrating experience of extreme cold sensitivity with fibromyalgia, with many describing intense shivering that feels uncontrollable and a complete reversal from once preferring cool weather to now craving warmth even at 70 degrees. Several members shared practical strategies including using electric blankets year-round, keeping sweaters and blankets on hand at all times, taking vitamin B-Complex supplements to help with nerve sensitivity, and consulting doctors about related conditions like Raynaud's Syndrome or thyroid issues that can affect body temperature regulation. A recurring theme was the relief of knowing others share this isolating symptom, the importance of always being prepared with layers and warming tools, and the reality that fibromyalgia affects the body's thermostat in unpredictable and often misunderstood ways.

I am cold all the time too. I sleep with electric blanket. Wear long sleeves in the summer and I live in Florida.

I also get really cold when everyone else is quite comfortable or warm. I make sure that I always have something to wrap up in and if I'm going to a friends house and not already left a blanket there I make sure I take one with me - I always have blankets and pillows in the car so I can snuggle down if someone else is driving

A complete thyroid exam would be my thought. When thyroid is not working proper there's many people (dogs/cats too) that have problems with their thermostat. Those people are always too cold, too hot, too fat, too skinny.

I am always freezing. I have to keep a sweater with me because I just get cold anywhere, anytime. If there is any kind of breeze I end up freezing. Everyone around me think I am crazy because they are comfortable but this is just how I am.

I have found that if I take vitamin B-Complex, at twice the recommended dose, my skin is not so sensitive to touch.
The reasons I started taking B-Complex were symptoms.
My eyes, usually only one at a time, were twitching at the outer corner. Also my skin was so sensitive that it hurt if someone, like my kids, gave me a hug.
The final reason was that, we hear how B-12 will give us energy. Well, I needed all the energy I could gather.
My Mom told me that she read that B-Complex helps our nerves better communicate among themselves.
The twitches are caused from nerves.
The sensitive skin is again, nerves. Right?
So, if I take the B-Complex regularly,
I don't have eye twitches,
my skin isn't AS sensitive,
and I have more energy.
