Since starting the cymbalta I've had a constant migraine. Also every night I've woken up freezing in a puddle of my own sweat and feeling like I'm going to die. (Yes, it's as disgusting as it sounds.) Then for the rest of the day no matter how much water I drink I don't seem to need to pee. I'm wondering if the night sweats would go away if I take the cymbalta in the morning, instead of at night? It does help my fibro pain and stiffness. But waking up feeling like death isn't ok. Yesterday it… read more

I take 25 mg at night of Cymbalta, I get the night chills and the sweats occasionally. I purchased a Stearns and Foster super soft hybrid mattress and Bedgear Dri-tec 5.0 mattress pad and I just got my bedgear Powersleep Dri-tec they're supposed to wick moisture away from my body... I'll let you know. I've ony been sleeping on them one night. I thought I was going into perimenopause! I'd wake up freezing so bad my teeth would chatter ten I'd be dripping with sweat! I have to say it lessening. How many milligrams do you take at night? ~ Marti

I take mine in the morning and it did help with those symptoms. I also found that they did lessen after about two months. I have been on it for 3years and only occasionally have those symptoms. Hope that this helps.

I had to decrease my dosage from 90 to 60mg due to excessive sweating. I still get hotter than other people but this has decreased (not stopped).

I have been on Cymbalta for years now and my doctor says it causes bad hot flashes. I swear if there was another drug for fibro. I would stop the Cymbalta, because I cant take the hot flashes

Hi, I am on [[treatment:cymbalta:54c86b8c860875808e[[phone:000492]] 120:]] mg a day. I take 60 In The morning and 60 at night. I have extreme sweating In The mornings for about 2-3 hours after taking it. I did ask my Dr about it on the 18th and she confirmed that yes it will cause the sweating. I have found that if I do not do anything but sit in my chair during this time with a fan on me that it helps a little. I am one that has never sweated no matter what I was doing so yes very concerned. I hope this helps.
