if you have broken your tailbone several times I would think that is why it is hurting....my mom and sister both fell and broke their tail ones and were in pain for years. I think once broken it's never quite the same. God Bless and gentle hugs to you...

Tail bone is not a trademark tender point for fibro , but I think we are just weird pain processors in general.

Oh my gosh. I have had pain in my tail bone for a couple of months and just thought I had irritated it somehow. It has bother off and on for years but I never really thought it was related to my fibromyalgia.

That's interesting. I remember that bothering me soo much a while back but has since subsided.

I have had tailbone pain off and on for years. Started when I was 11 and fell off a monkey bar. I still have problem with it. I can't say it was caused by fibro but maybe a cause of the fibro (traumatic event).
