I have had several EMG's and brain scans over the years for numbness in my extremities, especially the outer sides of my fingers and toes, but my Neurologist has come up with Carpel Tunnel on my hands and Reynauds for my feet. Still have the numbness though. :-(

Yes I do too and MS was ruled out too without the necessary MRI tests etc

I am suffering from numb toes, and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced it. I actually poked it with a pin today and there was no feeling whatsoever. I am not sure if that is a very bad thing...any ideas? Sho far, my hands only go numb a couple times a day when I have my arms at any places above hip height. Once I put them back down, the feeling returns fairly quickly. But this is new and happens several times a day. This is such a frustrating disease with so many symptoms that range so greatly from one person to the next and from one part of the body to the next. My neurologist takes months to get into and told me I am fine. He was literally no help whatsoever. I will find a new one that had awesome references.

I had the same tests and came back negative. Finally a rheumatologist called for a skin biopsy and that showed small fiber neuropathy. That caused my numbness, pins and needles, redness, inflammation, & burning skin pain. I know I'm 2 years late but better late than never
