Members overwhelmingly confirmed that foot pain is a common and often debilitating symptom of fibromyalgia, describing sensations ranging from burning and numbness to feeling like walking on bruised or broken glass. Several members shared practical strategies that have helped them manage the pain, including custom orthotics from specialty stores like Foot Solutions, switching to supportive shoes over fashionable ones, and seeing podiatrists to rule out conditions like stress fractures, Morton's neuroma, or plantar fasciitis that can coexist with fibro. A recurring theme was the grief of giving up beloved heels and cute shoes, the frustration of finding nothing truly comfortable, and the importance of proper diagnosis since foot pain can stem from multiple overlapping causes including neuropathy and Raynaud's phenomenon.

Yes, constantly! I hate that I can't wear my high heels any more ... trivial, I know but sometimes those little things are so hard to deal with

I didn't know that but have had it for years and have had to get expensive orthotics and really good shoes for some years now. No more cheap cute shoes. Only for comfort. Best place for these shoes is Foot Solutions. They spend a lot of time with you when you go in. ...and tweak the inserts anytime, for free.! Who does that any more?
