Are there any natural remedies or alternative treatments any of you felt was helpful in fighting fibromyalgia? My rheumatologist gave up on me recently so I am trying to find things to help me fight the pain and severe fatigue until I find a doctor who can help me.
I find infrared sauna 3x week and taking magnesium and Malic acid helpful
I have tried a number of things and settled on magnesium, C0Q10, VitD, VitB12, Black Cohash (as Cymbalta is time released every two hrs with a flush), Milk Thistle and Child's vitamin x2 as a adult one upset's my stomach. Add to that as needed Garcinia Cambogia or funny enough Alli for IBS.
Medicines are Cymbalta 30mg 2x/day and Naproxin 375 mg 1-2x/day
I use deep relief from Young living Essential Oils for spot pain. It relieves the pain within a couple of minutes. I also use oils for my moods and inflamation. I think they help me. The bad thing, is they work for some people and not as well for others. Its a trial and error thing. That kind of sucks and makes you want to give up, but don't.
I did the liver cleanse under supervision of a health professional and it was 18 months ago. Sorry, I don't remember all of it. It involved taking herbs like wormwood and cloves several times a day for a week and then on the cleanse day, drinking olive oil and lemon juice. I did it twice in 2 months.
I have found an all natural product online. It's called Fibrorelief. It's all herbs and minerals. It has helped more than the prescriptions. And I just found they make a migraine formula. I will be ordering it soon.
