I would only go to a doctor who will tell you beforehand if they treat fibromyalgia. Neurologists, rheumatologists, internal medicine, alternative medicine, etc.

I work with a homeopathic functional medicine doctor. Functional Med. Docs will keep working to get to the core of the problem and does not necessarily focus on prescription drugs to “bandaid” a symptom. I love my doctor.

My doctor keeps telling me to carrie on working don't give up I work in nursing home done that job since leaving school I would not know what to do now and that scares me so much xxx

I have found that you need a good GP, who can get to know you and what you are going through. I have been to two Rheumatologist - one was terrible, the other I am seeing not is extremely tougher ( have only seen him once , see him again in May) hoping for the best. Hope you find a good GP and Specialist that are good to you. Hugs
