My husband takes cymbalta and lyrica. He is no longer home because he became violent and his temper and moods are off the hook. Read the labels! Do your research! If you feel angry on them or not right, it may not be the right medicine for you. Those meds may have possibly ruined my family :(
I take Cymbalta and do not think I could function without it, as it relieves so much pain, stiffness and fatigue. However, it gives me electric shock sensations and weird parasthesias all over when I am late on a dose. Some people really hate that, but I put up with it for the pain relief.
I take 120mg cymbalta a day and if i forget to take it i am a mess. I get very emotional and want to cry.
I've been taking Cymbalta for about 10 years for fibro and depression. It has helped significantly with both. However, at this point, I feel its helpfulness has dimmed a bit - perhaps because I've been taking it for so long. However, I'm sticking with it until something else can do a better job.
