Recently, I was sent to the ER with intense, crippling abdominal pain that started on the left side and migrated to the right. This had been the first time I have ever doubled over in pain and the doctors never found a problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Since no problem was found, I'm wondering if it wasn't a Fibro thing.

I get that same type of pain often. It feels as though muscles are ripping. I sometimes can't stand up straight. It's terrible.
I have been diagnosed with irritable bowel, poly cystic ovaries and idiopathic pain. All these diagnosis have been since removed and classified as misdiagnosed because of my fibro. I frequently get abdominal pain. Usually for me it's lower (ovaries area) or on my right side. I have had 3 surgeries and countless ultrasounds, MR I ect looking for anything. Nothing ever shows up. My doctor has since told me that he thinks it is fibro related. I am newly diagnosed with fibro, so I'm not an expert yet....but in my case yes it is related.
Hope that helps!
And I completely understand your frustration. It's so frustrating going to the EL again and again with abd pain only to be told there's nothing and you're fine. *hugs*
I take digestive enzymes now with breakfast and dinner and that helps my stomach pain. Pribiotics once a week too
I've been having the same problems. I thought it was related to the stomach bug I had but it's still been happening on and off for months since and am thinking it's a fibro flare in that area.
Do you guys find it gets worse after eating or even drinking? I'm starting to get really anxious about it and find I don't want to eat
have your doc check for pancreatitis too, alot of the meds for fibro symptoms can cause it.
