I found on on the web,its called: Fibromyalgia Forum and Support Groups. Then I clicked on Find A Doctor Near You who treats fibromyalgia patients. The Doctor I was seeing for Osteoarthritis who is a rheumatologist told me my pain was worse than I should be experiacing. I asked her if it could be fibromyalgia. I am on meds Narcs by my family doctor have been over a year and went to pain management with a doc that has a 1 star rating online and all the reviews says he has a god complexe and he so did .. He wants me to come off all meds cold turkey ...I am so scared ..It know the only relief I have gotten is the 4 hours after taking my instant release oxycodone..
Did you ever ask your rheumatologist why she/he decided not to diagnose you? I would have straight up asked her, but it could be that she doesn't treat patients with fibro. However, sometimes physiatrists are also rheumatologists as well. My doctor is both, and she diagnosed me right away.
huh I got by diagnosis from a rheumotologist.
it took them over 10 years to diagnose mine.
