Look up atypical migraines. I have had had to go to hospital before i was diagnosed with FM with confusion slurred speech and a couple of times (took 10 years to diagnosis) emergency room thought i was having atypical migraines. Also TIAs which my neorologist is not ruling the TIAs out at this point

I have suffered migraines for all of my adult life to some degree, this includes aura as well. Started during puberty and ended upon pregnancy then again after pregnancy. I suffer now with mostly aura migraines. This comes on in an instant and you just hope to god you are not driving to a doctor's appointment when it does happen! Goes to say I try not to drive much at all anymore! I just close my eyes for about a half hour and it usually is better by then. Unscheduled nap!

Sounds like vision migraines...I'm a nurse and worked in surgery. It was a very stressful day, and I was experiencing this very thing. It was horrible. We had an eye surgeon there that day, and he diagnosed me. I've never had them again.

No, not a common fibro symptom that I've seen. Have you seen the eye doctor??
