Has Anyone Ever Experienced Breast Pain During A Fibro Flare?

The last week I have had some pretty strange symptoms the latest which is breast pain. Sometimes it is just an ache while other times it is sharp or shooting pain. Pain medication does not touch it.

Sertraline Or Duloxetine?

Sertraline Or Duloxetine?

I've been on sertraline for 3 years without any good result for my fibromyalgia I have been diagnosed with depression as well. My psychiatrist told me that I don't have to stop this medication. The neurologist on the other hand thinks that duloxetine works better for fibro symptoms. What are your experiences from both drugs? I think that I have to give a try on cymbalta, because Im quite exhausted and I feel helpless at this point.

Accepting Life With Chronic Illness

Accepting Life With Chronic Illness

How do you come to terms with knowing this illness is never going away??

I am 35 and I have had fibromyalgia since I was 10 years old
I was told it was all in my head, and fobbed off as a child and my early adulthood.
5 years ago I declined rapidly after the birth of my twins, my 3rd and 4th children.

I finally was officially diagnosed a few months ago, my gp and I had suspected for 5 years that I had fibro, but she would never refer me for confirmation.
I eventually thought that she… read more

So I have Bipolar I with psychotic features and rapid cycling. My mental health problems fuel my physical problems which then feed my mental problems. It's a lovely cycle. But, does anyone out there have that problem? I am cycling fast because of the pain. Does anyone know anything about that? Thanks.

Cold

Does anyone else seem to be cold and achy at bedtime? I swear every night I'm chilled to the bone and need three blankets and socks just to wake up hot and sweaty!

It's so nice to get affirmations that this is not imagined, made up, or any of the other adjectives used by those who don't "get" it. I wish none of us had to know first hand what this is like. Love… read more

CONSTANT Migraine For 4 Months

CONSTANT Migraine For 4 Months

hi everyone :-) I was wondering if anyone had ANY advice about this. I have had a debilitating pressurized migraine since January, there hasn’t been one day where it lets up. I’ve had three MRIs (I have two pituitary gland tumors but all the doctors say it’s “too small” to cause a migraine”, got my eyes checked, tried every medication, all of that. I’m so sensitive to light that I spend most of the day sleeping in my dark room. I don’t think this could be related to fibro but I wouldn’t be… read more
