Those of you who have burning mouth syndrome or something similar, is it constant or does it come and go? If it comes and goes, have you determined what causes it to flare up? Seems like sometimes it is after chewing food, any food really, a portion of my tongue and gums and cheek feel scalded. After a while, it will calm down. I was referred to a Neurologist by my GP and he has ordered a brain MRI scheduled in about a month. I have done about 3 MRIs over the years, knees cervical spine and lower back/hips. The MRI for the cervical spine was the worse so far because my head had to go in. I do not like being in such a confined space and had to take a sedative to keep me calm and even then I was anxious. Those of you with burning mouth syndrome, does it ever make you feel very self conscious about speaking? Like fear that your tongue is not gonna work right and you may trip over you words? Also, can you have burning mouth on one side of your mouth?
I'm terrified and has anyone had this??: I woke up feeling kinda dizzy but I literally had severe trouble walking!!!. I called my nurse friend and she said it was inner ear stuff. It got better after about 2hours but still feeling fuzzy in head w pressure. Been under SEVERE stress x5months trying to work on that and now This! Anyone else have this?

This symptom I find very strange.... any muscle could be involved but they seem to instantly get so tense causing pain - and nothing really seems to help. It can really make me feel quite low sometimes..
It has been three years since my brother's suicide. I never had pain like this before he died. Is this why I have Fibro? And, what can I do to get better. I am on tramadol which doesn't do a damn thing. Tired all the time.
