Has anyone experienced sleep paralysis? Last 3 nights as i have been falling asleep. I feel like everything is spinning around in my sleep, had wierd hallucinations and then feel paralysed and want to wake up but cant. Obviously i do wake up but i feel scared and have to turn lights on to calm down. Think had it before but not 2 or 3 nights. Had cortisone injection and huge flare up, been off work. Not sure if that is contributing to it. Wierd!!
I get this if I've been over doing it, or I'm sick, or I'm stressed. I call it sleep paralysis because no one knows what it is. I wake up not being able to move, but my brain is awake and I need to go for a pee urgently so trying to get moving is painful and time consuming. It's exhausting, I can sleep straight away after, and sometimes it happens more than once a night. Please if anyone can relate to this?
Is anyone suffer from sleep paralysis?if so do you know what triggers it and what is your experience like?
Just happened to me this morning. Couldn't even call out to my hubby. Could not talk. Very scarey! Just a new symptom to add to my list!!!
Hi
Has anyone had a flare up and suffered full body paralysis? i had this yesterday and it lasted around 3 hours.
Full paralysis of body lasting 20mins or more... No speech or movement, only able to move eyes... And a sense of pins and needles all over the body and shaking.
Sometimes when I first wake up in the morning my arms feel super weird: like shaky and weak. It is totally random and happens before I even get out of bed when i am still half asleep. If i try to pull my blanket back up over my body i notice it. Once im fully awake and get out of bed it is gone. Anyone experience anything similar?
I have had some unusual symptoms. My legs suddenly got weak and and wobbly. It is like they would not work properly. This really scared me. I also have had pain on my entire face and the lining of my mouth.. and just feeling sick. I have never had these symptoms before. Is this fibro or could it be something else?
Good afternoon, I have a question and need some advice. I can have a lot of pain in my lower back, hips and legs. And it will get so much that it’s difficult for me to walk or even move properly. It’s almost the pain gets so intense that my muscles just won’t cooperate with me and then I won’t be able to walk. Has any of you ever experienced this and what did guy do about it?
I started getting these "woof, woof, woof" noises in my head that increased in frequency when I was exerting myself or if I was anxious and stressed. My doctor ordered a MRI and ultrasound on my arteries and they were both negative. Next is an auditory test and seeing an ear, nose, and throat doctor. Whenever I bring up fibromyalgia , they dismiss it quite quickly. I am 67 years old. I tell people I have a dog barking in my head!
