Has anyone gone on long term disability through their employer due to Fibro?
I live in NYS and am now receiving Social Security Disability due to Fibro. Was denied at first, hired an attorney and got approved the second time.
Hello Friends, I am starting the process of applying for Social Security Disability. I know this process is complicated and lengthy. Any suggestions or help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

@A MyFibroTeam Member yes, I did. My case was strong but didn't want to chance it. I had a lawyer who only got paid if my disability was approved.
Get yourself a lawyer. I get it but I had two denials and then had to go to court before I got it. Took almost two years. It’s hard to get it for just fibro. Make sure you list everything you have… read more
