Could anybody tell me if fibromyalgia is classed as an illness or disability in the U.K. Please, thank you
As far as I know it's being more recognised now as a chronic pain disability that affects everyday living and U.K . It's great to finally see more understanding of it's cruelty to our lives. I… read more
I have tried Naproxen for my pain! It works, but unfortunately I had to stop taking it due to it messing with my Asthma! I had a really bad Fibro Flare once and it took all of it away in minutes! Maybe some of you can try it I don't know! I strongly recommend it though! #FibroWarriorDaily!
Hi I've just asked my Dr about a drug called Savella that supposedly helps with fibromyalgia only to be told we don't give that drug out. I know it's been passed by the bma but he said it's no different to venlafaxine which I'm already on
Does anybody have any experience with this drug

My doctor asked me to do research on the new drugs Savella. She said to find people with fibromyalgia who've taken it and see for myself if it works or not. I am very excited about the thought that something can help better than what I wanted. So please, if you've taken it FOR FIbromyalgia let me know your experience! Thank you!
Has anyone been prescribed Savella? If so, how effective is it in managing FM symptoms?

I went to the pain clinic the other day for my first visit. The doctor asked why I wasn't on a certain type of med that is for fibromyalgia. I'm already on Lyrica and Cymbalta. He said there is a drug that was approved specifically for fibro pain. Does anyone know what he would've been talking about? He's going to be giving a report to my family doctor but I can't see her till two weeks from now. I didn't write it down and of course I forgot what he said.
