For those of you on neurontin, what dose are you on for pain and is it combined with any other meds for fibro?
My Neurologist is now suggesting that I try Lyrica.
I have been on Neurontin for yrs.
It helps but doesn't always do the job.
I am curious to know other people's experiences with it.
I also just went to the pain Doc & he wants me to see a therapist who prob will want to suggest I take an antidepressant.
I just got off Klonapin & am nervous about what to do next.
I try to ignore the pain by staying busy. But as soon as I sit or lay down I hurt so bad I feel like im gonna get sick. I take norontin 300mg in morn and 600 at night. Helps with that irritable tingling. What does any one suggest. Its getting to the point I cant take it
Who has tried gabapentin (neurontin)? What was/is your experience?
It is a supplement for the hydrocodone that I already take.
I've dealt with enormous amount of pain for yrs due to a skin disease I have, and couldn't get my Dr's to understand this pain is different. For 5ish yrs I've tried to find out what was wrong with me, why my 8 yr old can hug me and it hurts so bad I nearly cry, I was pretty sure it was fibromyalgia. But it wasn't until today I got my diagnosis.
So plz help me out and tell me what the number 1 thing is you wish you knew or had been told… read more
Okay fellow fibro friends, my questions is what types of drug combinations do you take for your fibro? Pros/cons? just went off cymbalta and currently taken only neurontin at night, and occasional as needed ultram. Well I can feel my muscle as tight and no matter what I do they aren't relaxing. Have Xanax as needed for anxiety so after the pain kept getting worse I took one and it kinda helped. But isny something I want to do forever. So any suggestions I would be grateful
I'm not sure how to feel about this. About a week or two ago I wrote on my update here on MyFibroTeam, that I was sent home from work due to extreme dizziness, nausea, light, sound sensitivity and being off balance. It was awful. I returned to work 2 days later still feeling off balance and dizzy but not like the last two days. I saw my Rheumatologist the next week and she lowered my meds to see if it was the… read more
