Hi Lisa. Being in constant pain must be so difficult, especially when your usual medication barely takes the edge off. It wears you down and I can understand how upsetting and frustrating that must feel. Sometimes that frustration can spill over with those closest to us. I recognise that in myself too. When I’m struggling, I sometimes find I’m quicker to judge or am sharp when answering my children, even though they’re only trying to help.
I hope your loved ones understand how much you’re dealing with and can offer you patience and support.
Thank you for sharing how things are on here. I really hope you get some lasting relief soon and feel that those caring for you are listening and taking your pain seriously.
Wishing you the best,
David 💛
yes. i just feel very irritated and sometimes he gets irritated that i am irritated. i have to remind myself that he is also human with his own struggles and doesnt understand what i am going through either, but he is trying his best. as am i. we have to give ourselves grace.
I do the same thing Lisa, to my husband because he is the one living with me and takes care of me. I feel so bad when I do it. I apologize when I do it, but still.......
Thanks I'm trying to get to the point where I can deal and hopefully thet understand as, I do apologize to them and let them know what's going on. I'm just glad that I'm not got through this by myself and others understand.
Thanks everyone for your assistance, I thought I was by myself with this one, my pain has been so intense lately that even my pain meds doesn't help and it seems as if no one understands not even your doctors. I've gone to the ER twice in two weeks and gotten pain injections and it helped a little, but when the pain came back it felt like it came with a vengeance. It almost made me feel like I was losing my mind. I hope this doesn't last much longer. But thanks for your replies.
