Members had fun choosing animal mascots to represent fibromyalgia, with sloths, lions, butterflies, and even a beloved rescue dog named Gracie among the top picks. Several members connected with the sloth because it captures how exhausting daily life with fibro can feel, moving slowly not out of laziness but out of necessity. A recurring theme was the balance between feeling worn down by the condition and still finding strength, with lions chosen to represent the courage and resilience fibro warriors carry every day.

Besides a butterfly, I choose a duck. I feel like a lot of times I’m waddling!

I pick my sweet Gracie. She is an embassador of love and kindness.

Definitely, I'd choose the sloth. Just watch how the sloth moves ... that may not look like how I move at the end of a busy day, but it certainly looks exactly how I feel.

Yes anneelliott, I've seen lots purple butterflies associated with Fibromyalgia. I have had Fibro for over 35 years, but no one has explained to me why the butterfly. The purple choice is obvious though. Does anyone here know the explanation?
