Ikea Valevag medium firm the absolute best mattress ever.
Really comfortable from day 1.

I also use lots of pillows and a triangular pillow i adjust around my body.

Foot of bed i bought a orthopaedic wedge to elevate restless legs.

Use a lightweight duvet and layers rather than one heavy one.
Good quality cotton, no polyester, you just sweat!

And if you have issues with orthostatic intolerance and regulation of body temperature buy large Cooltemp gel packs on Amazon.
Put in fridge and remove 20 mins before sleep, i position one on my pillow with a towel over the top, works great for hesdaches and one by feet, the coolness feels refreshing and helps with sleep and restlessness.
They're also great to pop in freezer on hot days to help reduce inflammation.

I have a TemperPedic…it’s great except it can feel hot sometimes…mine is supposed to be a cool one…not always. One thing I really like is that it’s adjustable, a great feature. Good luck.💜

Sending you hugs Trevor. I just found out about my diagnosis after 2 years of test, and a ridiculous amount of pain. I can understand wanting to get away from everyone and everything but hold on. Today is a new day, do something small. Hugs, love and light.

Finding the right mattress with fibromyalgia can feel like a quest — but it's absolutely worth pursuing! While there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer, many MyFibroTeam members have shared what works for them when it comes to managing pain and sleep disruption at night.

Here are some mattress-related tips that tend to come up:

- Memory foam mattresses are popular among people with fibromyalgia because they contour to the body and reduce pressure points
- Medium-firm mattresses are often recommended — too soft can cause misalignment, too firm can increase pressure on tender points
- Adjustable beds have helped some members find a position that reduces pain during the night
- Mattress toppers (especially memory foam or latex) can be a more affordable way to improve an existing mattress Beyond the mattress itself, keeping the bedroom cool and dark can also make a big difference in sleep quality. Poor sleep and pain can feed into each other, so creating the best possible sleep environment is really important.

It's always a good idea to test a mattress before committing, and many retailers now offer sleep trials — definitely take advantage of those!
