We are looking to purchase a new mattress and I’m really considering the all foam type with varying density’s of foam such as the LEESA or Endy brands. Has anyone had any luck with them?
We researched mattresses for over a year. When I was visiting my daughter her mattress killed me...lol
Anyhow her roommate said try my bed and slept on couch. Oh my God I woke up having slept really well no numbers or tingling. Turns out she had the purple mattress. I called my hubby and he went online to read al reviews. He didn't like something about a powder that forms in it so he ordered the Puffy mattress. However didn't tell me..I slept one night on it and I'm like that is not the purple mattress and he's like no but you try it for 90 days and if it doesn't work they will refund our money and donate this to charity. I've actually come to love my Puffy mattress but we have decided to also order the purple mattress for our guest room so I can switch over when I'm having a lot of tender trigger point pain. I guess you could say... best of both worlds
The purple is very good for elimatomhnpain from tender points on the body and it's designed to be cool when u sleep versus hot like other foam mattresses
Hey @ StehanieL
We recently purchased a new mattress for our adult son. I did a lot of research before we went out because the market is flooded with new products. I was also looking at the new foam ones but the poor reviews quickly changed my mind. Our son is an athlete and needs a mattress with good lumbar support. He also has allergies so everything I buy him needs to be 100% cotton or hypoallergenic. I didn't like the idea of the chemicals, the gaseous odour they omit, that alone would kill me, as I'm very sensitive to chemical smells.
They're also hot and people say that they don't always bounce back after a while of sleeping on them. They tend to leave an imprint on the mattress which is extremely difficult for people with arthritis to get out of.
We went with a very high coil count, firm, Euro top mattress. We laid down on each one in the show room, after all, that's the only way to judge! He picked the one that was the most comfortable for him. He's happy and sleeping better than he has in years.
My husband and I have a very good quality, extra firm, coil mattress with a Euro pillow top as well, it's extremely comfortable.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!
We got a new mattress its dormeo fantastic
Thanks for your tip
I tried a memory foam mattress topper but it made me super hot and sweaty. It may not be all foam but just beware before spending alot of money. Maybe look online at mattresses that have peoples ratings to see what they say about it. Good luck
