It's hard for me to tell sometimes what's fibro and what's old age. AND it's frustrating, even maddening when I describe the symptoms to someone over 60 and they say, 'oh, that's not fibro. It's just old age stuff dear and we ALL have that,"😡 Not even close! And, if they add, 'You just need to out more and do some good hard exercise!', then I'm outta there!

I'm 63 and I hear that too! I was diagnosed with fibro 31 years ago when fibro was just starting to be beginning to be talked about, not much was known, I also have other illnesses too, some major. It's hard to tell them apart too, sometimes. I understand what you are going through.
Sending warm, comforting and healing love and hugs💖🤗

D.Murphy,
Thanks! I'll try making some changes and see if that helps. I think I had a need to vent as it's been a hard week.

After living so long with fibro, over 30 years, I sometimes ask myself that question. I have altered my lifestyle, eating, exercise and how much I do each day. It has lessened symptoms. Flares do not happen as often, but I do wonder what is my body slowing down - age.

I will be 79 next week and have shared my life with fibro for 60 yrs. Sometimes I think we have been together to long and don't know what it would be like without her. I find I deal better by making it a part of me, sounds crazy I know but it helps me cope better.
