I definitely relate to both of you. I struggle with those thoughts too. Here is something I learned about challenging negative thoughts. It’s a technique therapists use called cognitive behavioral therapy. Thoughts feelings and emotions are connected. So you think that you are not doing enough, and should be doing more. Which probably leads to a bad feeling and the emotions are negative too. This is probably not the best explanation but I am trying. So now go back to the original thought and CHALLENGE it! Try this thought: I am doing as much as my body can handle and that is enough. Now how do you feel? Hopefully a little better. Look up this book The Pain Management Workbook by Rachel Zoffness. Give yourself grace. 🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️
God blessings Irish wife sweet dreams
No, because I’ve accepted that I have an illness. There is a prayer I think it’s the serenity one. There are pros and cons of this illness. I enjoy listening to nature! I’m grateful ful for this site & all of u to too. God bless!
That is extremely inspiring
A lesser human, I believe we are called human beings because we are here to learn. It's like a big school you can't bunk off.
Why would I feel a lesser human being because I have been given illness in life. Illness brings with it many coping strategies some better than others, it brings judgment from other people, every single day we can't do what we want to achieve as our bodies won't allow us. Yet our minds and spirit is untouched. We are given a body for a very brief period of time we are given life for a brief period of time. I'm not religious I am spiritually minded so every religion interests me. The buddha was kept inside the walls of his father's kingdom away from all the troubles of the world. He didn't know about death until he walked outside and saw a dead body on the street. He asked 'what is this?' Does this happen to everyone? What is the point?
He then left his fathers kingdom and went on his way. If we lived in India or other countries like this we would see death everywhere. They don't hide it, Not like the western world who run away from it.
We are extremely lucky not to see this on a daily basis where there are homeless people in pain. I would never call them lesser humans as in my mind they are the strong the ones people walk past everyday without a care in the world. So no I definitely do not feel a lesser human being for being ill in my comfortable flat with my comfortable bed warm sheets and doctors who I can call at anytime of day. I am extremely grateful for all that I am and all I have been blessed with 🌺🦋🌻🌹
