This is what my dad asks me when I say I am exhausted. I am pretty sure he is declining mentally. He is forgetting things. Maybe I should just ignore the question.

I can imagine that would be so frustrating...and when you're exhausted it's not as though you have energy to explain. When my mother in law had dementia I learned a few things. Having an easy to say phrase like, "Just one of those days, Dad, it's ok" can be reassuring (and easy on you).
