Members shared their personal experiences with Aspercreme with lidocaine and other topical pain relievers for fibromyalgia and arthritis relief, with mixed results across the board. Several members offered alternative suggestions including Voltaren for joint pain, lidocaine patches cut to size, CBD lotion or oil, IcyHot, and homemade pain salve with frankincense and essential oils. A recurring theme was that everyone responds differently to treatments, so trying options carefully is key, and practical tips like screenshotting helpful posts were shared to help manage fibro fog.

I make a pain salve with frankincense resin and essential oils. It works well for my fibro pain and arthritis pain. I have friends that request it for various pains, but mostly for their arthritis.

@A MyFibroTeam Member. I like your suggestion of gin and tonic the best! If you drink enough of them, you won't even notice if the pain cream is working. Of course most of us can't mix alcohol with our meds, but I still like your suggestion! Sending you a warm hug!

I did a long time ago. I personally prefer lidocaine patches. I cut them to the size I need.💞

Thank you fibrono. I used to do that. But my phone has been updated so many times so I don't know if it is still available. I forgot about that. I'll check back into that possibility ☺️
