I am hopeless at remembering to take my medication. Even after all these years of being on it. You would have thought I would have a good routine by now, but no. I have to set alarms on my phone to remind me to take my medication or I will forget to take it. I have switched off my alarm with every intention to take my medication and still forgot. What is wrong with me? Please tell me I'm not alone on this one.

Members responded with lots of reassurance to the question about forgetting to take medication, with many sharing that they struggle with the same thing even after years of being on their meds. Several members offered practical strategies that have helped them stay on track, including using pill organizers, setting phone alarms and not turning them off until after taking the medication, and keeping medications somewhere visible as a reminder. A recurring theme was that brain fog and medication side effects can make remembering even harder, and that having a simple system like a daily pill box can make a big difference.

I have a weekly/daily medication organiser (pill box). Some days I can't remember if I've taken them or not so I check, incase I'm having a 'brain fart' moment 🤦‍♂️

@A MyFibroTeam Member I got the pill organiser. I love them. I got a big one for my morning and night meds as I take them upstairs. And two small ones for in my bag as I may be out or downstairs when I take them. So good. Xx

Rarely do I forget. Instead of turning off your watch alarm then taking your medicine…try not turning off your watch alarm until you’ve taken your medicine. Just a thought.
