I’m really laid up. I have stabbing pain in my lower back and it hurts when I move it in almost every direction. I cannot bend down without searing pain. I am thinking about getting a refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. Might make it easier to retrieve food. Any ideas?

I have a side by side which I think is better
as bending to the floor for the freezer is not good.
One could use a grabber for lower items in the side by side
I found I did more bending with the side by side fridge. I just replaced it with my freezer on the bottom fridge. You are typically in the fridge part a lot more than the freezer part. In a side by side, the drawers for the fruits and veggies are literally on the floor. That’s a huge part of my diet, so I’m pulling those drawers out constantly. The freezer on the bottom doesn’t get pulled out nearly as much.
I know 2 people with the freezer on the bottom and it’s not that easy to pull out. The you have to bend to get the food out. Maybe a side by side would be easier. I use a small folding chair sometimes to get food on the bottom.
Do small slow stretches. Little ones, like lifting your arms a little sitting and lifting your legs. Stand and just move slowly in a walking movement. Very slow lifting your foot in awareness. Doing small moves that only take a few minutes. Do not push past the pain. If your arms or hands hurt stop then try with a leg 🦵 Little steps are huge leaps. I have faith in you lots of faith sweetheart 💕💖
