I have a nodule in the middle of my throat. It’s not cancerous, but it’s a benign nodule, a little large. Pills get stuck there… also I have gastritis and Gerd and think that contributes ,,,also more mucus than normal because of my lung disease.
I thought this picture was interesting and how it related to fibromyalgia too

Dr looney tune sent me to hospital , she told me thst I have got bowel cancer, I told her that I haven't got bowel cancer this was over the phone she sed how do u know, I sed cos I feel well I don't feel ill. There was around 20 Dr's there in the room, the nurse told me I'm to be put out as they have got to turn me into different positions, nothing was found at all, why don't Dr's listen to their patients. Well did my friend Clare, & the nurse all had a laugh at her expense 😂🤣😂
Have you had a Radiofrequency ablation? Or is doc trying meds first?
This is a difficult one with meds and getting them down. Stress can cause gerd which with fibro is a big problem. As we age it is also more likely to feel this at some point. Have you tried taking meds through a straw popping the meds at the back of the tongue. Sending hugs to all 🫂😘
Yes it happens to me, more often at night or evening. I buy ice lollies this helps quite alot

Hi there! Thank you for your interesting post. It sheds new light on this issue. I’m glad that you’ve been able to manage some of your symptoms with natural supplements, etc. how great is that that your fatigue and flaring pain has lessened in intensity and duration. I wonder if you might share what you’ve done and what supplements you take for different things ,if you ever feel up to it. You are so right about the new symptoms that come up I’m in my early 70s now and every decade I feel worse and have new symptoms crop up from time to time. Also, the arthritis is causing me a lot of joint pains. Sending you love and God’s peace back to you, dear friend.💞
Hi vic yes I have dysphagia. I choke easily, especially with grains of rice, crumbs of bread, meat morsels, and my own saliva. And sometimes when I cough from choking, my throat seems to close up and I have a hard time breathing. 2 summers ago I was diagnosed with ILO after going to ER twice bc my throat closed up and I couldn’t breathe. And something like daytime apnea. It was very strange and scary. I read later that this too is common among Fibro patients.
I remember when I was first diagnosed with FMS almost 15 yrs ago, the focus centered on pain and fatigue. I can tell you that it’s so, so much more than that. Fibromyalgia causes havoc on practically every part of your body. Thankfully studies over the years are revealing the myriad symptoms and conditions associated with FMS. Contrary to earlier belief, fibromyalgia can in fact worsen over time, as some symptoms may intensify and new ones develop. Every year I seem to pick up something new. It’s a real nuisance.
But with natural supplements and personal management the fatigue and flaring pain has lessened in intensity and duration. However, I have so many other and new conditions triggered by FMS that it becomes overwhelming. I know we can all relate to that.
Hugs and God’s peace my FIBRO bros and sisters,
❤️
