Members shared varied experiences with medical cannabis for fibromyalgia, with several finding success using it for sleep, pain relief, and fatigue management, particularly through CBD/THC combination products or specific strains like Indica for body pain and Sativa for daytime energy. Many members emphasized that effectiveness depends heavily on individual body chemistry and the specific product used, noting that different strains produce different effects, some products work better for certain symptoms than others, and organic options are preferable to avoid pesticides. A recurring theme was the trial-and-error nature of finding what works, with encouragement to experiment while managing expectations, as results vary widely from person to person.

I use a combo CBD/THC product for pain relief.

I don’t use it often and it doesn’t work for everything, but it does help with things like aches and cramps.
It doesn’t do diddly for a headache though.

It really depends on the individual product and what it’s geared towards, and of course what you are looking to address.

I know some that have had luck with products that did not work for me and vice versa.

I also can tell you that almost any sativa product and some hybrids makes my pain climb. But not Indica. 🤷‍♀️

If you try something I wish you luck. 💛

The short answer is yes, but not all illegal weed is the same either.

Different strains have different effects, some more body high and some more cerebral. Variations from plant to plant, potency variations, then there are hybrids, products where CBD is also a large part- I could go on but I’ll spare everyone. 😂😅

I. Use a sativa type in the day time sometimes, for unreleved pain and fatigue…it definitely works for me. Be sure when you use this stuff, that it’s organic! You don’t want to be injesting pesticides!

Currently, I’m taking one by CBDmd called full spectrum pain relief.

These are not considered medical though. I live in a state where medical is technically legal, but it’s hard to qualify and only applies to low THC oil. 🤷‍♀️😂
