Members connected over confusion about private messaging on the platform, with many expressing a need for one-on-one communication and some sharing workarounds like leaving contact information on someone's profile wall. Several members cautioned against sharing personal information publicly, noting glitches where private details became visible to others and emphasizing the importance of being careful with whom you share contact details. A recurring theme was frustration with platform limitations and technical glitches, balanced by members helping each other navigate settings and troubleshoot notification issues with patience and humor.

I’m aware, Sue. 😉
I made everyone aware. Reporting glitches rarely does anything in my experience.

Speaking of glitches- I’m getting teams notifications from you sometimes multiple times a day. 🫠

Mmm… I don’t think that is exactly right at all. Be careful sharing your private information with anyone- you never know.
(I’ve been burned before, on here, unfortunately.)

I think you actually have to be on that person’s wall for them to be the only person able to see it.
Regardless of what the AI does or doesn’t say, I can’t see it.

I say this, because I have seen others think they were safely sharing their home addresses, telephone, or email and I was able to see it. 😳

It’s probably listed in the rules, but I’m fairly certain you have to be on the recipients “profile wall”. I think that hides it from others. 😅

Side note: I’m so glad the powers at be think that AI summary is a solid use of resources. 🫠🤦‍♀️

You can just send a new post from anywhere on here, no need to go to home page.
She will see your message from the feed at the upper right.

Everyone else just gets a message that you are sharing information but that we can’t see it.

It is safer to leave e-mail and contact each other that way.
Then exchange cell numbers by email if you wish.

@A MyFibroTeam Member its would be better if you could speak one on one if you wanted you don't always want to share everything for anyone to see.
