Joanne, a lot of us have low immune system systems and catch everything that goes around. We are susceptible to other autoimmune diseases too. It’s important to get as much sleep as you can and to eat as well as you can. To walk a little bit, move around a lot.

We're DYSREGULATED! Our Immune System is challenged, along with other body systems, it's Progressive if not Treated properly. Perhaps check out brilliant Dr. J. Teitelbaum's books - initially: "From Fatigued to Fantastic" 4th ED + AMMES.org... A good pro-biotic is essential, as 80% of immune function is in 'the gut', which runs the brain, et al.

I like that we don’t have that here. To each their own though πŸ’―

Are you finding yourself getting sick more often since developing fibromyalgia?

Yes, this is something many people with fibromyalgia experience. The chronic stress and inflammation that comes with fibro can affect your overall health and make you more susceptible to feeling unwell.

Living with constant pain and poor sleep can wear down your body over time. When you're dealing with fibromyalgia symptoms like chronic pain, sleep disturbances, and anxiety, your body is under continuous stress. This can impact how well you cope with other health challenges.

Many MyFibroTeam members report feeling like their symptoms have gotten progressively worse over the years, and the physical toll of managing fibro can make it harder to bounce back from other illnesses.

It's worth discussing this pattern with your healthcare provider. They can help determine if there are specific factors contributing to you getting sick more often and work with you on strategies to support your overall health while managing fibromyalgia.
