Has anyone here taken Lyrica? I was previously on Gabapentin, but my pain management doctor switched me to Lyrica because I’m also taking Cymbalta for depression. He mentioned that Lyrica and Cymbalta work better together for fibromyalgia. I’m curious about others’ experiences — how did it work for pain relief and side effects?

I have taken Lyrica for many years for neuropathy. It has helped with the neuropathic pain but has not helped with the severe muscle pain I have with fibro. It has also caused me to gain a significant amount of weight.

They started me on 75mg twice a day. I already see the difference, pain is more tolerable. 🙂

It varies with each person. The only way you’ll know is if you try it.

That’s concerning. Thank you for letting me know.

I am afraid to take it because I have issues with my eyes and I don't want to go blind. I read that it can cause problems. My body is so sensitive. Let us know if it continues to help you. I'm debating but I'm very afraid because of my eye issues.
