Members confirmed that armpit pain can be part of fibromyalgia, explaining that the condition affects soft tissue like muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments in unpredictable ways that vary from person to person. Several members shared that their armpit pain worsens with bra pressure, can last for days before disappearing, and may be linked to tender lymph nodes or co-occurring conditions like chronic fatigue syndrome. A recurring theme was the frustration of fibromyalgia's ever-changing symptoms but also the comfort found in shared experiences and the encouragement to keep asking questions and advocating with doctors.

Armpit pain can definitely be related to tender lymph nodes. The tender lymph nodes usually point to myalgic encephalomyelitis (or A.K.A.: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) which is highly co-morbid with Fibromyalgia. Perhaps you should consider googling Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, to me, it sounds like Fibromyalgia is playing a mean game of "Find Waldo". Fibro keeps changing the rules/symptoms of this illness just to be mean. Not nice Fibro! Thank you for taking the time to provide input. It means a lot to me.

@A MyFibroTeam Member, fibromyalgia has over 250 related symptoms it can affect. It can change or add new symptoms randomly. It keeps you guessing, and what works for one person may not work for you. I was diagnosed with fibro 30 years ago, but have had the symptoms since my early teens. Keep learning, you will find things that help you. Also feel free to ask questions here, people will answer you with their experiences and you can see if that will help you.

VeraBalogh, does anything make it better? I have noticed that my body, at times, rebels when fabric touches it. It doesn't happen always but when I have a flareup- it occasionally includes that reaction against clothes, pillows and anything that remotely puts pressure against my body. :(. Thank you for your input. I think we sometimes need reassurance that our symptoms are consistent with other fibro sufferers. I understand we are all different and our symptoms differ also but we still look for the things we share in common with others. Thanks again!

I started noticing armpit pain about the last 2 months. It's worse when I have a bra on.
