My brother has EOE along with his fibromyalgia. He always feels like something is stuck and most of his pain is in the GI tract.

I get that feeling too, and sometimes I actually get food stuck in my throat too.
I hope you get that feeling resolved soon♥️

I have in the past experienced it, yes. Now-a-days I sometimes get very choked on my water and find it difficult to compose myself. Occasionally this may happen with food I eat too.

Does the sensation of something stuck in your throat relate to fibromyalgia?

That feeling of something stuck in your throat can be really uncomfortable. While this specific symptom wasn't discussed in the available information about fibromyalgia experiences, it's worth noting that fibromyalgia can cause many unusual sensations throughout the body.

This throat sensation could be related to several things:
- Muscle tension in the neck and throat area (common with fibromyalgia)
- Stress or anxiety, which often accompanies chronic conditions
- Digestive issues that sometimes occur alongside fibromyalgia
- Something unrelated to your fibromyalgia

Since this symptom can have various causes, it's important to mention it to your healthcare provider. They can help determine whether it's connected to your fibromyalgia or if something else needs attention.

Have you noticed if certain activities, foods, or times of day make the sensation better or worse? That information could be helpful when discussing it with your doctor.
