Members rallied around the question of constant ear ringing, widely recognizing it as tinnitus and sharing how disruptive and exhausting it can be to live with day and night. Several members shared possible causes, including strong IV antibiotics during serious illness, the flu, and medication side effects, with one member describing a near-fatal hospital stay as the likely trigger for their own symptoms. A recurring theme was finding ways to cope, with members mentioning sound machines at night, the medication betahistine to reduce noise, and probiotics to support recovery.
