Members shared mixed experiences about how fibromyalgia symptoms change after holidays, with some finding temporary relief from getting away from daily stresses and routines, while others reported needing weeks to recover from the physical demands of travel. Several members described the delicate balance of wanting to enjoy time away but struggling with chronic fatigue, arthritis, and pain that worsens with activities like sightseeing or long drives, making even short trips exhausting. A recurring theme was the bittersweet nature of vacations for those with fibromyalgia, where the mental break and change of scenery can be refreshing, yet the physical toll often lingers long after returning home.

Just chilling by a pool or on the beach would be like heaven I think 😁
