Members connected over the frustration and strangeness of experiencing vivid dreams, with many describing dreams that range from wildly entertaining to deeply unsettling, and some noting that their dreams often revolve around unresolved issues or past stressors that leave them feeling anxious or physically worse upon waking. Several members shared that certain medications can trigger vivid or bizarre dreams, with one person finding relief after stopping the medication responsible, while others suggested practical strategies like focusing on something pleasant or funny before bed to help redirect dream content. A recurring theme was the bittersweet nature of dreaming, with some members grateful for REM sleep despite the emotional toll, while others mourned loved ones who reappeared in dreams, blending comfort with heartache.

It could be from a medication if you're taking any. That happened to me.They stopped when I went off the med. It's worth checking into. Good luck!

Try focusing on something pleasant and happy, maybe even something funny before you go to sleep. Maybe by watch a funny movie or reading a funny book. See if anything like that will redirect your dreams. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’–

My meds will do that definitely. I have the strangest dreams. Sometimes they are scary and sometimes wildly entertaining. My favorite one was when my room at work got emptied of all of my stuff and was being used as a funeral space, for a Rabbit! LOL

I always get vivid dreams . They mostly revolve around unresolved issues in my life , even from a while ago . I wake up in a bad state and my FM is going full whack !! Sometimes I'm too afraid to go to sleep .
