It's like they tense up in a semi-curled position. Like you're going to make a fist but didn't get all the way there. My hands seem to revert to this as a resting position. It's especially bad at night. My forearms are sore/tired from it also.

Members shared their experiences with hands curling into a semi-fist position, describing it as an unnerving sensation that sometimes requires concentrated effort to move, with many noting it worsens at night and causes forearm soreness. Several members found relief through compression gloves, specifically recommending DISUPPO Arthritis Compression Gloves from Amazon and emphasizing the importance of proper sizing, while others use wrist splints at night to manage symptoms. A recurring theme was the belief that the curling might have a neurological component, though members approached it pragmatically by focusing on tools and strategies that provided comfort and relief.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I bought DISUPPO Arthritis Compression Gloves on Amazon. They aren't expensive, or fancy, but they do work for me. Getting the right size is important. Thanks. 🤗

I know what you mean. I wear a wrist splint on my dominant hand at night. I used to guess there was something neurological about it.
