I was diagnosed when i was 10 which was 2019 (do the math) the doctors would throw it off as growing pains until i was taken to the hospital unable to walk and i was told by multiple doctors it was in my head until i saw one last doctor and they diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia.

I wasn't diagnosed until I was 28 years old. According to that doctor, I had fibromyalgia my entire life. I was probably born with it. I've been misdiagnosed on and off more times than I can count. It didn't become unbearable until about 7 or 8 years ago. Everything in my life stopped because of the dumbest of things. I was getting ready for work one more morning and bent over to pick up a shoe. That was all it took to take over my life. I crumpled to the floor and was there until I could army crawl my way to my cell phone. My legs pretty much just fell asleep on me. The fall caused nerve damage to my lower back, as well as other issues. After that, literally everything stopped. I lost everything I had been working towards. My daughter and I had to move in with family. It took the last 8 years to get my disability approved (it just happened in September). I don't know if I'll ever be able to get back on my feet or have my own home. Those are just the cards my life was dealt.
