Anyone Been Prescribed Mobic For Inflammation? If So, Did It Help?

Mobic helped me a lot. When I had muscle spasms in my back. It took a few months, but then much better. But that was before I was diagnosed with Bronchiectasis. Just a warning Ann…since you have COPD, doctors may advise against it.(asthma too). My pulmonologist told me not to take any anti inflammatories, since diagnosed with my lung disease, not even over the counter ones❤️‍🩹

I had a friend who was on it and ended up with ruptured colon emergency surgery and sepsis. Never fully recovered as contracted a rare fungal lung infection as well. He passed away at only 32 years of age. I would advise caution and close monitoring if on this medication. Agree with Vic on respiratory diseases.

I am on generic Mobic aka Meloxicam and have been on for a while. Let's put
it this way ..I definitely know when I don't take it.

I have…not sure it was any better than Advil. But yes it did help. I don’t recall any sideffects.

They tried to keep me away from NSAIDs due to my asthma. Now they also don't want me to take them because I am on Xeralto for DVTs they think may be related to the fibromyalgia.
