I have left arm tremors that began about 2 months after the onset of my fibromyalgia. My doctor says the tremor is a separate issue, and not related to fibromyalgia. I can't help but think it is related since it started soon after my first fibromyalgia symptoms began.
I guess I was lucky to have my essential tremor diagnosed in my 20’s. A high stress job, and my hands and arms would begin shaking. I could definitely link it to stress. A medication calmed the tremor. (propranolol held under my tongue would calm the symptoms within a few minutes. )
Fibromyalgia arrived 15 years later. The tremor reappeared. It bothered other people much more than it did me. I’m back on Propranolol and the tremors are not as noticeable anymore. I now take a low dose tablet every 12 hours - and can play the piano again as well as do needlework/quilting.
I sometimes tend to tremble almost as if you were really cold when I have a real bad night
