Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing shoulder and arm pain as part of their fibromyalgia, with many describing it as a persistent, debilitating symptom that worsens at night and affects daily activities like washing dishes or hair. Several members shared treatments that have provided relief, including trigger point injections, cortisone shots, physical therapy, pain medications like Tramadol, and in some cases surgery for related conditions like frozen shoulder, tendinitis, or nerve compression in the neck. A recurring theme was the unpredictable nature of fibromyalgia pain, with members experiencing varying levels of discomfort throughout the day, numbness and tingling, severe pressure point knots, and the frustrating loss of strength and mobility that once came easily.

Yes, absolutely. I’ve had two revision surgeries. My right shoulder I have a prosthetic and my right knee prosthetic. I have pain in my shoulders hips and lower back every morning. I basically have pain at different levels throughout the day. I was diagnosed with fibro 10 years ago. I use Tramadol 300mg/day. This med does not get rid of the pain 100% but manages the level of pain throughout the day. If that makes sense. I forgot to mention, the fatigue at times is insane.
