Does anyone else get nervous when applying to jobs wondering, “how do I manage my pain and work”?

I don't know what to tell you. My heart goes out to you. I know I have drastically changed my work... I used to do bedside care 12 hours 3-4 days a week. Now I work on a computer in an office. I am very fortunate I have worked at the same place for the last 12 years. They pretty well let me set my own pace. I am probably a worse micro manager than they would be of myself. I need to find balance. I need to love myself where i'm at. I have a hard time doing that. I do have lots of leeway in my work as thirty two hours is considered full time so I can knock off when I need to. If I allow myself that is.

What you’re feeling, may be a clue to what you know already inside. I had to go back to work once to help with my daughter’s college payments. And I just cried when I found out. It was really really hard. I guess I knew internally, that my body wasn’t going to be able to do it. If you need the money and have to work, maybe you could apply for disability…
